For the fourth time, Digicon 2019 is searching for the most innovative company with a future-oriented concept. Participation is worthwhile, as the winner of the Digital Innovation Award will receive €10,000 in media funding. The application period runs until October 4, 2019.
The 4th Munich Digital Innovation Award enables companies to present their innovations to a jury and within the framework of Digicon 2019, to impress the high-caliber audience there and thus emerge as the winner of the award for 2019. The four best innovations will be recognized. The winner of the award will also receive 10,000 euros in media volume to promote their company via the platforms of the Digital Welt Magazine to apply.
As in previous years, Digicon will feature Pitch In the battle for the 4th Munich Digital Innovation Award, nominated companies in the two categories of SME/Startup and Large Enterprise competed against each other. The award will then be presented to the most innovative of all participating companies – regardless of whether they are a startup, established medium-sized company, or large corporation.
Sequence
You can submit your ideas or concepts until October 4th. A jury will pre-select eight nominees from all applicants. These will then compete against each other in pitch battles at Digicon. Each participant has three minutes to convince the audience of their idea. Afterward, the jury members can ask the candidates questions. The audience will then choose the winner on-site. The following criteria apply:
- Level of innovation / unique selling points
- Customer benefit / market potential
- Feasibility
- Qualifications and experience of the team or the submitting company
On October 25, 2019, the jury will announce its decision on which innovative ideas have been nominated for the pitch battle for the 4th Munich Digital Innovation Award. Digicon 2019 will take place on November 20 and 21, 2019, at Palais Lenbach.
