This year, the Munich Digital Innovation Award will be presented by the Digicon audience to the most innovative company with a future-oriented concept. The competition is open to companies of all sizes and ages—whether startups, medium-sized businesses, or corporations. We are looking for digital innovations that shape the future and excel in the following areas:
- Level of innovation / unique selling points
- Customer benefit / market potential
- Feasibility
- Qualifications and experience of applicants
Interested companies can still Apply by September 9th via the Digicon websiteAfter the application deadline, all submissions will be evaluated by a jury of renowned personalities from industry and business. Among those included are Jörg Ochs, CIO of SWM; Christof Schäfer, Business Operations Lead Airsense at Airbus Defence and Space; and Frank Schmidt, CEO of ITK Engineering and CTO of Bosch Engineering.
The top twelve will then advance to the finals and be invited to the Digicon Innovation Marketplace on November 21. There, the finalists will have their own booth to present their ideas to all attendees and guests. The winners of the Munich Digital Innovation Award will then be chosen via a public vote on the evening of the event.
About Digicon
The Digital World Convention, in short Digicon, is the annual event of Digitale Stadt München e. V. (Digital City Munich Association) and will take place this year on November 21st at the SWM gas meter workshop in Munich. This year's theme is "Reality Check AI – Possibilities and Limitations in Practice." Over the course of a day, experts from various fields will discuss the many advantages AI offers, as well as the practical limitations and challenges that companies and researchers must consider.
