German Future Prize 2019: Celonis among the nominees

Celonis is among the three nominees for this year's Future Prize. The Future Prize, awarded annually by the Federal President to particularly promising technologies, is endowed with €250,000.

The three nominated teams for the 2019 Future Prize were presented in Munich. Among them was Celonis. Whether the Munich startup — and now also Unicorn — will take home the prize worth 250,000 euros, will be decided at the awards ceremony in Berlin on November 27, 2019.

A jury will decide which of the three teams will take home the 2019 Future Prize based on criteria such as the degree of scientific and technical innovation, market readiness, potential for new jobs and contribution to sustainable value creation.

Become a unicorn with automated business consulting

Celonis has developed an application based on a technology called "process mining" that is designed to examine and analyze everyday processes within a company. The goal of the application is to identify inefficient processes and optimize them. This automated business consulting can be applied to a wide variety of processes that leave digital traces - regardless of whether it concerns the production of a pharmaceutical manufacturer or the logistics of a retail group. Celonis has now established itself as the market leader in process mining and, just over a year ago, achieved a Company valuation of one billion euros.
