Where to put all the cars in urban areas? Instead of creating new parking spaces, the Munich startup Parkhere We are working with the drive company Marantec on solutions to optimize the utilization of existing underground garages and parking garages. Despite parking pressure and a shortage of parking spaces, up to 35 percent of parking spaces remain vacant due to flexible working hours, business trips, and absences.
Complete solution from a single source
This is where Parkhere comes in: with its parking space booking system, it offers companies the opportunity to fully utilize existing parking spaces and, ideally, completely avoid traffic searching for parking spaces in the parking garage.
To be able to offer future Parkhere customers not only the system but also the associated hardware, the startup is now launching a collaboration with Marantec. The plan is to offer a one-stop solution. The complete solution consists of Marantec's drive technology for barriers or gates and the Parkhere terminal with license plate recognition and QR code. No additional hardware is necessary, as the entire parking garage and access management system is handled by Parkhere's intelligent software.
Employees receive the parking booking app, and companies receive an online dashboard for management. This complete solution can be used for all parking spaces with a regular user base, such as corporate, neighborhood, and residential parking spaces.
