The Generation-D 2019 start-up competition is seeking innovative and creative projects with social added value across Germany. The competition aims to raise awareness that social projects and economic viability don't have to be mutually exclusive. It pays to be quick: The application deadline is March 31, 2019.
At Generation D In 2019, founders whose idea solves a social problem in a novel way are eligible to apply. Student projects that innovatively and creatively solve current challenges in Germany and thereby create social added value are eligible to participate.
Generation D seeks ideas with social added value
There is no specific sector focus. However, applicants can focus on topics such as education, the environment, health, and social responsibility. Funding is not limited to selected problem areas, however. The Generation-D 2019 jury particularly values the project's long-term feasibility.
The winners of Generation-D 2019 can expect prize money totaling €15,000. In recent years, prizes ranged from €1,500 to €5,000 per team. In addition, the competition offers a large network of cooperation partners, such as Social Entrepreneurship Akademie who support the winning projects with coaching, consulting and workshops to ensure that the project is built on a solid, sustainable foundation.
Last year, Climedo Health and Acrai Two Munich startups were also honored at Generation-Dorder.
