Through its subsidiary Prinas Montan, Degussa Bank is acquiring the Munich-based startup Munich General Insurance Services. Founded in 2014, the company is known under the brand "Mobilversichert" and offers insurance brokers and their clients a digital overview of current contracts.
At the heart of Mobilversichert's offering is a brokerage and administration platform used by more than 1,000 brokers. Prinas Montan offers insurance solutions to corporate employees and aims to unlock synergy effects through the acquisition. Mario Herz, Managing Director of Prinas Montan, says:
"Mobilversichert is a digital pioneer in the field of future-oriented technologies with a focus on broker sales. With combined technology and sales expertise, we can make our insurance and financial services offerings even smarter, simpler, and more efficient—for customers, partner companies, and agents."
Munich General Insurance Services aims to “continuously expand its technology offerings”
Manuel Ströh, CEO and founder of Munich General Insurance Services, says:
"We are very pleased to have the Degussa Bank Group as a strong strategic partner, enabling us to grow and continuously expand our technology offerings. Together, we will work to establish new digital end-to-end processes in financial services that benefit both brokers and their clients."
The company will continue as a subsidiary of Prinas Montan.
