The Business Angels Network Germany (BAND), in cooperation with Business Angels Europe (BAE), is awarding the Golden Aurora for the European Angel Investor of the Year for the third time.
Any active female business angel resident in Europe is eligible for nomination. The Golden Aurora winner is expected to serve as an ambassador for female angel investors in Europe, as BAND aims to encourage more women to become angel investors.
Who can nominate?
Candidates for the Golden Aurora can be nominated by anyone, whether from one of their portfolio startups or from colleagues. The nomination should answer the following questions: How does the entrepreneur support startups, both in terms of funding and entrepreneurial skills? What is special about working with the entrepreneur?
How can I nominate my favorite?
Nominations can be submitted until March 31, 2019. A jury of experienced angel investors and renowned ecosystem players across Europe will select the winner. The awards ceremony will take place during the Business Angels Community Summit on June 25 and 26, 2019, which will also include the Golden Nose 2019 is awarded.
