Andreas König becomes new CEO at ProGlove

ProGlove is restructuring: Andreas König will lead the Munich-based startup as CEO. He succeeds Thomas Kirchner. The co-founder of ProGlove will now be responsible for product development as Vice President of Product.

ProGlove has a new CEO. The change was initiated by the current CEO, Thomas Kirchner. The co-founder of ProGlove intends to focus more on product development in the future. The industrial startup has recruited Andreas König, the former CEO of TeamViewer, as its new helmsman.

“We are delighted to have Andreas König as our new CEO,”

says the future Vice President Product Thomas Kirchner.

"Andreas has been supporting us in an advisory capacity for several months, sharing his experience in scaling organizations. He also brings a solid software and hardware background. This gives him exactly the skills we need to further build on our success."

Digital tools for workers

König arrives at the right time for the Munich-based startup to drive scaling and further growth. And the new CEO also seems to have some big plans. Andreas König says:

"I firmly believe that unicorns can be built in Germany, too. That's precisely why the job at ProGlove appeals to me so much, because I see precisely this potential here. ProGlove's products provide workers in the age of Industry 4.0 with the digital tools they need to perform their tasks more intelligently. They thus offer compelling perspectives in the face of challenges such as digitalization, automation, and artificial intelligence."
