Free State expands start-up support

Since mid-May, start-ups and startups have been able to benefit from significantly improved conditions for public start-up support. The SME loan program (start-up and investment loans) of LfA Förderbank Bayern has been significantly improved.

To create further investment incentives for Bavarian companies, the circle of eligible applicants has been significantly expanded. For example, the profit limit for projects eligible for funding has been raised to €200,000.

Young entrepreneurs can apply for a development loan

In addition, the support for start-ups will be significantly expanded: in future, business takeovers and active investments will also be eligible for start-up loans if the company is already self-employed.

Starting a business as a sideline is now also eligible for funding. The LfA aims to foster entrepreneurial potential as early as possible.

In addition, transfers of businesses to subsequent generations will be made easier by making purchase price payments between parents or parents-in-law and children eligible for subsidies in the future.
