The American internet giant is launching a marketing platform for startups. The offering is intended to support young companies.
Google’s products are already being used in many startups.
The company from Mountain View, California, is offering a fourth platform specifically for startups — in addition to Google Cloud Platform for Startups, Google for Entrepreneurs and Google Developers Launchpad.
“Holistic support” in marketing
The platform will enable startups to connect with Google experts and receive assistance in shaping their corporate strategy. Of course, the company also intends to sell ads through its AdWords advertising system and supports startups in setting up, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns.
André Schäbel, Head of Business Development at Google, says:
“It is particularly important to my team and me to be a strong partner for young, growth-oriented companies and to provide them with comprehensive online marketing support.”
Google is also present in Munich with its own development center. Dr. Wieland Holfelder, head of the Munich Google Center, said at the opening:
“With excellent universities, modern infrastructure, and its high recreational value, Munich offers perfect conditions for us.”
