SXSW: The German Haus will be so Bavarian

Only three weeks left until South by Southwest (SXSW)! Munich Startup will also be reporting from the interactive festival in Austin. Here's a taste of the Bavarian program in the Texas capital.

Servus meets Howdy — a whole delegation from Bavaria, and especially Munich, is traveling to the event, bringing with them their own logo and a fitting slogan. As in previous years, the Bavarian activities will focus on German House Just a few minutes' walk from the Austin Convention Center, actors and initiatives from several German states are pooling their activities here. German Pavilion German companies, creatives and musicians will also be presenting themselves from March 12th to 15th at the Austin Convention Center, Booth #1009.

Sunday will be Bavarian

A variety of organizers will be organizing the program at the German Haus between March 11 and 15. On Saturday, March 11, the theme will be Smart Cities. Sunday, March 12, will be dedicated to Lifestyle & Entertainment. On Monday, the focus will then be on Intelligent Future & Wearables. Starting Tuesday, the German Haus will turn its attention to music: The New Sound of Music. The program concludes on Wednesday with a Music Day titled "Wunderbar."

From a Munich perspective, Sunday, March 12th, will be particularly exciting: Bavaria will host three events at the German Haus. The networking event "Digital Journalism Rocks Lunch" brings the Slack community of digital journalists together for lunch. At the "German Corporate Champions League“ startups have the opportunity to get to know the Crème de la crème German corporations and startups to network at speed dating.
