Pace Club receives 5 million euros

Fitness startup Pace Club has raised fresh capital to expand its studio concept and further develop its technology. Investor Vorwerk Ventures is leading the round.

Founded in 2025, the startup Pace Club is pushing ahead with its growth plans. Founders Benedikt Ess and Dominik Clemm have secured five million euros in fresh capital. Vorwerk Ventures is leading the financing round. After the successful launch of its first studios in Munich and London, the company is now clearly focusing on expansion and scaling.

Pace Club relies on a so-called Boutique gym conceptThe startup combines training, technology, and community. It consistently optimizes its space utilization and manages studio capacity based on data. At the same time, its offerings are specifically targeted at performance-oriented (hobby) athletes. The team's goal is clear: to transform ambitious recreational athletes into visible athletes.

“Fitness is evolving, moving away from mere access towards performance, community and genuine progression. Pace Club perfectly captures this zeitgeist and is building the infrastructure for a new generation of (hobby) athletes. We are delighted to support a team that is consistently implementing this vision.”

thinks Peter Schmetz, Principal at Vorwerk Ventures.

Expansion and technology are the focus

With the new capital, Pace Club is focusing primarily on international expansion. The team is planning new locations in the EMEA region and simultaneously investing in its own software platform. This platform already manages key processes in studio operations and is intended to scale further in the future.

“With Vorwerk Ventures, we have found the perfect partner to roll out our structure. Our goal for 2026 is clear: We will open six to seven more studios that will redefine the standard for urban training.”

explained Dominik Clemm, Managing Director of Pace Club.

“In addition to our new partners, Benjamin Burkhardt, an experienced entrepreneur, remains at our side and will significantly contribute to developing Pace Club into the number 1 in hybrid sports with his know-how and network,”
