Applications now open for the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School 2026

Students from all over the world can now apply for the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School (GESS) 2026 of class Social Entrepreneurship Akademie. This week-long bootcamp brings together dedicated participants who want to develop entrepreneurial solutions to societal challenges. The application deadline is May 4th.

The Global Entrepreneurship Summer School supports young people in actively shaping positive social change. Social entrepreneurship is the central focus. The program is developed in cooperation with entrepreneurship centers at leading universities in [country/region]. MunichShanghai, Querétaro and Cape Town.

During the Summer School, selected students from various disciplines collaborate in international and interdisciplinary teams. Within one week, they develop an innovative and sustainable business model that addresses a specific social problem. Experienced coaches support the teams throughout the program and provide valuable guidance. Interactive sessions also impart theoretical and practical knowledge about impact entrepreneurship.

In 2026, participants can choose between two international innovation locations: Shanghai (July 12-18) or Munich (August 27-September 2). At the end of the week, the teams present their ideas to a jury and become part of a global community of change agents.

International Summer School for dedicated students

The GESS is aimed at students aged 18 to 35 from all disciplines. Applicants must be or have been enrolled at a university during the year of the summer school. Teamwork skills, excellent English skills, and an interest in entrepreneurial thinking and social engagement are also important.
