The Munich Business Plan Competition will start in 2026 with a new participation record: 205 startup teams will submit their business ideas in phase 1 – more than ever before. Baystartup It has recognized ten particularly impressive startups. The award-winning teams are developing technology-driven solutions in fields such as medicine, biotechnology, robotics, quantum technology, energy, and industrial manufacturing.
At the competition, founders present their business ideas, receive in-depth feedback from industry experts, and network with investors. A clear and well-defined business model remains particularly important. Competition Director Max Akhmedschin explained:
“Phase 1 isn’t about perfect companies. What’s crucial is that teams have a thorough understanding of their problem, their target group, and their solution.
