Strascheg Award – Ideas competition of the Munich University of Applied Sciences

The Strascheg Award is the Munich University of Applied Sciences' ideas competition and is awarded in three categories for innovative business ideas. Ideas, projects, and academic papers driven by entrepreneurial spirit are eligible for application.

30,000 euros prize money

The decisive criteria for the award are the degree of innovation, the market potential and the prospects for implementation of the idea. The award carries a total prize money of 30.000€ endowed.

In each of the three categories, the first to third placed ideas will receive €5,000, €3,000 and €2,000, respectively. In addition, all winning projects can 6 months of free support and consulting services from SCE Start-up Support for the sustainable realization of the project.

Applications still possible until the end of July

The application requirement is that the submitted ideas have a connection to the Munich University of Applied Sciences or the SCE whether they were created in a teaching or event format of SCE or university or a startup member is active at the Munich University of Applied Sciences.

All participants receive a personal consultation and qualified feedback on their business idea. The Strascheg Award is sponsored by Renate & Falk Strascheg Foundation.

The application deadline is 31.07.2015, 23:59. The award ceremony will take place at the E'ship Day at the Munich University of Applied Sciences on October 13, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
