With the Biotech Innovation Call 2025, EIT Food aims to support research teams, startups, and companies in bringing their biotech innovations to market faster. The call is part of the EIT Food Co-financed Biotech Portfolio and is aimed at projects that contribute to a more sustainable and efficient food system.
The focus is on two key challenges facing the industry:
- the development of sustainable downstream processes to reduce energy and water consumption and
- new technologies for real-time process monitoring and control.
We are looking for practical solutions that have the potential to result in marketable products or processes within a short period of time.
Funding for research and commercialization
