Attention technology-oriented startups from Bavaria: The 20th competition round of the Start?Zuschuss! funding program runs until June 23, 2025. The program is aimed at founders with a sustainable, innovative business model in the field of digitalization, whose company was founded no more than two years ago by the deadline of June 23, 2025.
The aim of Start?Zuschuss! is to offer young companies uncomplicated financial support in their initial phase. Financial support is intended to contribute to successful establishment on the market – without bureaucratic hurdles or lengthy application processes.
Funding includes expenses for personnel, rent, product launch, and research and development. Selected startups will receive a one-time grant of up to 50 percent of their eligible expenses, up to a maximum of €36,000. The funding is awarded under the de minimis regulation and is valid for a period of one year.
Applications now open – funding starts in October
Applications for Start?Zuschuss! are submitted via a two-stage process. In the first stage, applicants submit their documents online. An external jury evaluates the applications received and makes a shortlist. In the second stage, the selected teams submit their official funding application to the responsible government. The funding period begins on October 1, 2025.
