The regional semifinals of the Female StartAperitivo Bavaria will take place on May 14, 2025 – online and open to all interested parties. The nationwide competition aims to facilitate access to capital for female founders and increase their visibility in the startup ecosystem. The event in Bavaria is hosted by One Mission, an initiative to promote gender diversity and female leadership in the startup sector.
Startups based in Bavaria that are no older than five years and have at least one female founder or co-founder on their team are eligible to participate. The winner of the Bavarian semifinals will secure a spot in the national final in Berlin on June 27, 2025.
The event is aimed not only at the participating founders, but also at investors, mentors, industry experts and an interested audience who have the opportunity to help decide which startup will advance to the finals via online voting.
Expert jury and audience vote
A four-person jury of experts from the tech and innovation industry evaluates the startups' pitches. The jury includes Marlene Eder, Susanne Traugott, Florence Strassburger, and Tanja Knoeller. In addition to the jury's decision, an audience vote is also included in the evaluation. Pitchers can therefore leverage their network to gain additional votes.
