Making urban open spaces more sustainable, inclusive and biodiverse – this is the aim of the networking event “Companies and city administration for more green open spaces in the city” on 13 May 2025 in Munich Urban ColabStartups, small and medium-sized enterprises, and social enterprises from Munich and the surrounding area who want to help shape the future of the city with innovative ideas are invited to participate.
The event within the framework of the EU project JustNature The event is organized by the Department of Urban Planning and Building Regulations, the Referat für Arbeit und Wirtschaft, and the Technical University of Munich. The goal is to promote exchange between companies and the city administration and to jointly develop new solutions for urban greening and open space planning.
Who can apply – and why?
We are looking for companies that…
- Rethinking open space planning,
- offer innovative products for more green in the city,
- Design participation processes,
- develop digital planning tools or
- creatively communicate the importance of urban nature.
The event offers space not only for pitches and discussions, but also for networking with stakeholders from city administration and business. Examples of successful collaborations will be presented, and thematic sessions will facilitate intensive exchange. The goal is to raise awareness of existing solutions and better understand the needs of the city.
Using the insights gained from the event, the JustNature team is developing a concept for the City of Munich to improve integration and collaboration with such companies.

2. Your interests and questions about cooperation with the city
3. The information whether you want to hold a pitch
