The Life Science Factory as a springboard for life science startups: Since 2024, there has been a Munich "Life Science Factory," including fully equipped laboratories. The department was originally founded in 2018 by the German pharmaceutical company Sartorius with the goal of promoting startups and scientific progress in the life sciences sector. A location in Göttingen has been in place since 2022. Startups housed in the Life Science Factory receive industry insights and start-up support, as well as access to valuable contacts and tailored investor matching.
