The funding program Start? Grant! supports technology-oriented start-ups from across Bavaria. Funding is available to young startups with a sustainable, innovative business model that operate in the field of digitalization and were founded no more than two years ago.
As part of the Start?Zuschuss! competition, startups selected by a jury receive a maximum of 50 percent of eligible expenses. These expenses can include personnel costs, rent, research and development costs, and market launch costs. A maximum of €36,000 can be covered.
The aim of the program is to provide the supported startups with financial backing so that they can further develop their business ideas and bring them to market without having to rely heavily on external financing in the early stages of their company's growth.
The winning startups have been announced
The winning companies of the 18th Start?Zuschuss! competition have now been announced. From approximately 80 applications, 19 future-oriented startups were selected, including several from the greater Munich area. These include:

- Cleverwatt
- UniteLabs
- Dehaze
- Form
- Futurail
- SE3 Labs
- Pvradar Labs
According to the jury, these startups are contributing to the further development of digitalization in various industries with their innovative solutions.
Not only have the winners been announced, but the next round has also begun: The application phase for the 19th phase of the Start?Zuschuss! competition has begun. Applications can be submitted until January 9, 2025. Further information on how to participate can be found here.
