The Start?Zuschuss! funding program aims to support technology-oriented start-ups in the field of digitalization. Funding is available to young companies with a sustainable, innovative business model that operate in the field of digitalization and were founded no more than two years ago – the respective application deadline is decisive in this case.
As part of the Start?Zuschuss! competition, startups selected by a jury receive a maximum of 50 percent of eligible expenses. This includes expenses for personnel, rent, product launch, and research and development. A maximum of €36,000 can be covered.
Applications open on November 18
Interested startups can submit their Submit applications online – A sample application is available online. The application deadline is January 8, 2023. The selection process will then be divided into two stages:
Stage 1: Competition procedure, evaluation of the application by an external jury
Stage 2: Selected applicants submit funding applications to the relevant government
The jury's decision is scheduled for mid-February, and funding will begin on April 1, 2023, for one year.
