Fewer celebrities, more content: Day 1 of Bits & Pretzels 2024

For the 11th time, Bits & Pretzels brings together founders, investors, industry leaders, and other startup enthusiasts. And anyone worried that the format might seem a bit dated after all these years can rest assured – because compared to previous editions, Bits & Pretzels has changed quite a bit. We share our impressions from the first day of the fair.

Bits & Pretzels 2024
In addition to the main stage, Bits & Pretzels will once again feature several side stages this year, where attendees can learn about a wide variety of topics. The so-called "Money Pit Stage," for example, will focus on proven financing and financial strategies. Industry experts will share innovative financing strategies and provide insights into current economic trends. Successful scaleups will share their success stories and answer the questions of those who want to replicate them. Take Aron Gelbard of Bloom & Wild (pictured). In his presentation, he explained how the British floristry startup not only successfully expanded its portfolio – in addition to flowers, it also supplies a wide variety of gift items – but also conquered additional markets, including Germany and France, through organic growth and acquisitions.
