The focus of Qualiwise is on the complete digitalization of quality inspection – a task that poses a major challenge for manufacturing companies, especially in plant engineering. The industry is dependent on suppliers, sourcing up to 90 percent of its parts from external providers. Delayed deliveries, defective components, or a lack of quality transparency cause major operational problems. Qualiwise addresses this issue and aims to replace the often still paper-based quality inspection processes with its software.
The "Smart Inspection" solution digitizes the entire quality inspection process, from planning through execution to follow-up inspection. Among other things, inspection plans are automatically created from technical PDF drawings using artificial intelligence. Particularly important inspection characteristics can be supplemented with image and video evidence. The solution guides employees through the inspection process, while a mobile app records and verifies the measured values in real time, and compares them with specifications. All of this is intended to significantly accelerate the inspection process, enable early detection of quality issues, and reduce the need for physical incoming goods inspections.
