With Orcan Energy's systems, companies can generate electricity from waste heat. The modules are used wherever waste heat is generated – for example, in engines, industrial processes, or on ships. The company promises that it can harness even smaller waste heat sources and low temperatures. A central role in the Munich-based company's growth goals and expansion plans Startups Patrick Prügger will play the role in the future. With his international experience and extensive industry expertise, Prügger will become the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Prügger brings his expertise in financial management and strategic planning to his new role. He began his career at KPMG, where he developed deep and broad industry knowledge. During his time at Gericom and KTM, he was responsible for a wide range of tasks within the listed companies as CFO. Most recently, he was CFO of the B&C Group, which holds investments in listed Austrian industrial companies and minority stakes in technological growth companies with an industrial focus.
As CFO, he will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. His expertise will contribute to structuring all financial instruments to accelerate company growth and product sales. A particular focus will be on developing innovative financing solutions to offer Orcan Energy's technology to even more customers worldwide.
