The Competition The German Mobility Award, sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and Transport (BMDV), is entering a new round. Founders, startups, networks, and initiatives can submit their projects and applications in the field of digital and transport until August 18, 2024. The German Mobility Award presents awards in four categories: "Digital Transformation and AI," "New Mobility Solutions," "Design," and "Practical Examples." The focus is on pioneering approaches to digital systems that combine networking, digitalization, and artificial intelligence.
Since 2016, the Federal Ministry of Transport, Digital and Cultural Affairs (BMDV) has been honoring technical and social innovations that rethink and shape mobility. The Federal Minister for Digital Affairs and Transport, Volker Wissing, emphasizes:
"The demands on sustainable mobility are enormous and demonstrate the importance of creative ideas. The German Mobility Award not only recognizes outstanding achievements, but also inspires people to harness the potential of digitalization and create innovative solutions for modern, connected, and sustainable mobility."
In a multi-stage selection process, a jury of experts will select the winners, who will receive the German Mobility Award 2024 at a festive awards ceremony. In addition to trophies and certificates, the prizes include significant media attention and visibility before and after the event. The winners will also enjoy exclusive networking opportunities and transparent feedback from the jury.
