SUMMARY:Online: Road to START Summit by START Munich
DESCRIPTION:Road to START Summit 2021 will be our largest event with a pitch competition by 6 startups\, mixed with networking and entertainment.\nEach startup will be presenting their idea to you as well as to the jury. Our jury will be consisting of world renowned VCs & successful startup founders. You will then be able to ask questions during the competition as well as vote for your favourite startup. Even better\, before and after the main event\, you have the opportunity to talk to the founders of the startups as well to our sponsors. Of course\, you can also connect with other attendees over a drink on our platform after the pitch competition. \nIt doesn’t matter whether you just want to be entertained\, interested in startups\, or searching for a cofounder\, we have something for everyone. \nJury\nOur first jury member is Max-Josef Meier – he has founded both Stylight & finn.auto\, where he is currently the CEO.\nOur second jury member is Carsten Maschmeyer\, founder of seed+speed & known from the TV show „Höhle der Löwen“!\nThe third jury member is Judith Dada – Partner at LaFamiglia VC\, supporting some of the most successful German startups.\nOur final jury member is Robin Godenrath\, a founding partner & managing director of Picus Capital\, a large Munich based VC firm focusing on early stage startups. \nAgenda\n17:00 – 18:00: Networking with startup founders in virtual booths\n18:00 – 18:55: Opening speech & first 3 startup pitches with Q&A\n18:55 – 19:10: Short break\n19:10 – 19:55: Other 3 startup pitches with Q&A\n19:55 – 20:10: Short break\n20:10 – 20:30: Award ceremony\n20:30 – Open End: Talk to people with startup experience in founders‘ tables and connect to other attendees in topic rooms \nNetworking\nIt is critical for us that our event enables you to expand your boundaries\, both for yourself and for your network. To facilitate this\, we have virtual booths before the pitch competition where you can talk to various startups from different stages. After the pitch competition\, we also have founders‘ tables\, allowing you and max 5 others to talk to somebody with startup experience about their story.
