DESCRIPTION:Opportunities for HealthTech Startups in Singapore & Germany during COVID-19 and Beyond \nAs the COVID-19 health crisis has proven\, now more than ever fostering innovation and collaboration efforts across global markets are imperative. Especially in the medtech industry and adjacent healthcare verticals\, interactions between Germany and Singapore startup ecosystems and markets continue to flourish\, even with travel restrictions and border closures. \nIntroducing this session\, the Ambassador of Singapore to Germany\, Laurence Bay\, will highlight the attractiveness of both ecosystems and the initiatives supporting entrepreneurial exchange between the two countries. As tangible examples\, the startup executives Sirko Pelzl\, CEO of apoQlar and Dr. Jack Tan\, Chief Medical Officer of TeleMedC will share their motivations for entering the respective markets as well as their experiences and lessons learned. Complementing the discussion\, will be Singapore-based investor Shoko Suzuki\, and CEO of APACMed\, Harjit Gill\, who together will provide insights on the COVID-19 impact and a holistic perspective on the industry. \n
