DESCRIPTION:LOVE meets Tech: The hackathon to help improve the lives of singles & couples! #wehacklove #iot #bots #physicalweb\nWelcome to Munich: the capital of singles from Germany. Or was it Berlin or Hamburg?\n#ForeverAlone – In Munich it seems particularly difficult to meet new people\, not to mention a partner. This is not only sad\, but can also be dangerous\, as John Cacioppo describes in his TED Talk „The lethality of loneliness“. \nNot only is this hackathon about dating\, but also about couples. About 50% of marriage end up in a divorce. Non-monogamous relationships are on the rise\, and couples explore their sexuality with more freedom than ever. Yet very little focus is given to relationships in the tech world. \nWe want to challenge the status quo! This is why Cook And Code and Stylight are partnering to organize Munich’s first LOVE HACKATHON. \nBeginners are\, of course\, welcome! Cook and Code in association with Stylight will provide special workshops to teach the basics you need during the hackathon. \nStylight will provide a library of hardware devices: sensors\, actuators\, boards… \nTherefore: All you need is love! (And … technology?) \nKey-Facts:\n\nTwo tracks: singles and couples\nLSBTTIQ-friendly\nNo entrance fee\nFood and drinks included\nStrict Code Of Conduct\n\n Technologies:\nYou can work with your favorite stack. However\, we’d love to see projects related to: \n\nWeb apps\nIoT (Google Physical Web\, NodeMCU\, wearable\, etc…)\nChatbots\n\nNo matter if designer\, nerd\, or kindergarten-expert: everyone can participate in the Hackathon. We try to mix the teams with different skills and backgrounds so that each team can also implement a prototype. You can also join as a team. \nSchedule:\n2.12. From 7 pm Pre-Event: introduce your idea and find a team. Workshops and lectures on dating and technology round off the evening. \n3.12. From 9am: Start building your prototypes. During the day you will find other exciting workshops\, which you can visit.
