Using Olivaw's platform, users can control and monitor their robots from various manufacturers and equip them with additional skills. For this concept, the Startup<\/a> raised a seven-figure sum in pre-seed financing. The investors are experienced business angels and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, including Sebastian Winkler von Mohrenfels from the Baystartup network. An early-stage venture capital fund from Plug & Play also participated in the round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Barbara Dombay<\/strong>, Head of Baystartup's Investor Network, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"The use of service robots in areas such as transportation or cleaning is becoming increasingly urgent given the growing shortage of skilled workers and is a rapidly growing market. Olivaw is expanding this market even further by upskilling service robots. This allows them to be used even more extensively. Due to its manufacturer-independent deployment, Olivaw has the potential to become the central, intelligent hub for all topics related to service robots."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And Sebastian Winkler von Mohrenfels<\/strong>, Business Angel from the Baystartup investor network, adds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Professional service robotics is a clear trend, and efficient fleet management is becoming increasingly important. Olivaw has a good chance of becoming a European champion with its manufacturer-independent platform. The business and technology concept is compelling and has scaling potential. The founding team brings the right drive, extensive robotics expertise, and experience from international corporate structures as well as successful company start-ups in the past."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Olivaw simplifies fleet management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Olivaw's software solution is designed to unify the management of robot fleets from different manufacturers on a single platform, thus reducing complexity and costs. The offering is aimed at robot manufacturers, distributors, and companies in the building management, cleaning, security, hotel, hospital, and airport sectors that operate their own robot fleets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, manufacturers can use the Olivaw platform to develop and distribute skills for robot applications, similar to an app store for smartphones. By adding various services and skills, the robots can be optimally configured for the specific application. A practical example is the automatic fill level reporting, which is already in use at Munich Airport, or a weather skill that allows cleaning robots to clean more frequently.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
