1st place:<\/strong> In first place in the first quarter of 2024 Bobbie<\/strong>The Munich-based building materials start-up had a wild ride in Q1: First, it had to an application for insolvency<\/a> because he was unable to raise enough money for follow-up financing. However, a viral LinkedIn post later, a new investor found<\/a>According to Bobbie, his funds will secure the company's liquidity for years to come. The initial cash flow came so quickly that the founders were already able to withdraw their bankruptcy filings. \"Noyes<\/a>
2nd place:<\/strong> Another story with a happy ending lands in second place. The Munich-based company Noyes Technologies<\/strong> found a buyer after its insolvency at the end of last year. Over the past few years, the startup has developed a fully automated, AI-based, and modular warehouse system. The solution requires very little space, making it particularly suitable for small areas, such as those found in large urban areas. However, the Munich-based company found a buyer in the Austrian Knapp Group.<\/a> As of February 1, the newly founded Knapp Nano Warehousing Beteiligungs GmbH took over the business operations of Noyes Technologies. The company will now continue operations under the new name Noyes Robotics, and all 19 employees at the Munich location will be retained. 3rd place:<\/strong> Also on the podium this quarter is Freeway camper<\/strong>The Munich camping startup merged with Campiri<\/a> from the Czech Republic. Both companies intend to pool their expertise to assume a leading role in the industry in Europe over the next three years. By merging with Campiri, Freewaycamper not only aims to leverage the Czech startup's powerful IT platform but also secure access to the rapidly growing Central and Eastern European market, as well as to Spain, where Campiri has been operating since 2022. All four co-founders are part of the joint venture, with Nikolai Voitiouk-Blum and Luk\u00e1\u0161 Janou\u0161ek remaining co-CEOs. Julia Blum will serve as CXO, and Paul Tesar as CPTO. 4th place:<\/strong> In fourth place this quarter is a piece of financing news: The Munich-based startup Breathe<\/strong> \u2013 formerly known as Point Twelve \u2013 was able to successfully complete its Complete pre-seed round and raise 1.3 million euros<\/a>The regulatory tech company has developed an IoT and SaaS platform that enables manufacturers of energy-intensive goods to certify their production more efficiently. The pre-seed round is led by Revent, with a co-investment from Vireo Ventures. UnternehmerTUM and various angel investors are also participating.
