1st place:<\/strong> First place in February goes to Noyes Technologies<\/strong>The Munich-based startup has been offering automated warehouse solutions since 2021. However, in November 2023, it had to file for insolvency. In February, the takeover by the Austrian Knapp Group was announced<\/a>Knapp develops and produces intelligent plant systems using digitalization, software, automation, and robotics solutions. Founded in 1952 by the inventor and innovator G\u00fcnter Knapp as a sole proprietorship with two employees in Graz, the group now employs around 7,500 people at 62 locations worldwide. The company will now continue operations under the future name Noyes Robotics, with all 19 employees at the Munich location retained. Knapp intends to continue the development and delivery of the warehouse system and maintain existing business relationships with customers and business partners. \"Freeway<\/a>
2nd place:<\/strong> Freeway camper<\/strong> joins forces with Czech market leader Campiri and takes second place in our Startups of the Month. Through the merger with Campiri<\/a>\u00a0Freewaycamper not only wants to leverage the Czech startup's powerful IT platform, but also secure access to the rapidly growing Central and Eastern European market as well as Spain, where Campiri has been operating since 2022. 3rd place:<\/strong> In a Series A, Planet A Foods<\/strong> at the beginning of the month 14.1 million euros (15.4 million dollars). Climate VC World Fund led the financing round<\/a>Omnes Capital, Cherry Ventures, Mudcake, Nucleus Capital, and TriplePoint Capital also participated. Planet A Foods, which produces cocoa-free chocolate primarily for the food industry under the brand name Choviva, plans to use the fresh capital to drive Choviva's international expansion and expand its process to include other plant-based ingredients. \"Flix\"<\/a>
4th place:<\/strong> Since the beginning of February, the green buses have been rolling from Flix<\/strong> Now also on the Indian subcontinent. The Munich-based company connects 46 cities with its buses, offering more than 200 daily connections. Among others, the long-distance buses go to Delhi, Ayodhya, Lucknow, Dehradun, Manali and Jodhpur<\/a>Flixbus is initially collaborating with five local bus companies from Delhi. Initially, the service will be expanded around Delhi, followed by the first connections in the south of the country. Further routes are already being planned. 5th place:<\/strong> The e-commerce startup Neocom<\/strong> secured \u20ac4.2 million ($4.5 million) at the beginning of the month. The Munich-based company specializes in digital purchasing advice and aims to play a leading role in the e-commerce sector. The current financing round was led by Carbide Ventures and Sangha Capital<\/a>At the heart of Neocom's software are intelligent algorithms that guide customers step by step to the right product using user-oriented questions. This allows users to receive precise product recommendations in real time that meet their needs.
