Hololight was founded in 2015 and has since then operated as an enterprise streaming platform in the market for immersive applications and XR (virtual and augmented reality). The 'Hololight Hub' is designed to enable the global availability and easy deployment of XR applications. Companies use these to improve their industrial processes in product development, manufacturing, training, or service. With the new investment of \u20ac11.4 million, the startup aims to further develop the XR streaming platform and acquire additional customers in industries such as automotive, aerospace, and mechanical engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNew standards in the application of XR technologies\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Florian Haspinger, <\/strong>CEO of Hololight, says: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

"As a pioneer in enterprise XR streaming, we aim to stream any XR app through our Hololight Hub. This helps companies overcome the barriers to using immersive technologies. Our approach not only provides enhanced data security and infrastructure flexibility, but also enables high-fidelity XR experiences and global availability\u2014all in a highly cost-effective way."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Expansion into the USA in May last year<\/a>, with the opening of an office in the Triangle technology center in Durham, demonstrates the company's ambitions to further expand its global presence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monika Steger, <\/strong>Managing Director of Bavaria Capital<\/a>, comments on the current financing round as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
