Pina Earth:<\/strong> The Munich-based startup Pina Earth aims to make German forests more climate-resilient. To this end, the startup has developed a forest conversion methodology and a technology to measure the resulting CO2 reduction. Pina Earth thus offers climate protection projects for which CO2 certificates can be purchased and provides forest owners with an additional source of income. The startup was founded by Gesa Biermann and Florian Fincke in 2021 and now has 15 employees. The four founders, Julian Kowatsch, Sebastian Portera, Stefan Partheym\u00fcller, and Anton Zeller, have developed software to ensure a smooth exchange. Julian Kowatsch explains in interview<\/a>: "As a company, you don't want to bring in the twentieth IT project and spend weeks or months setting up software; you want to benefit quickly from IT solutions. Lumeus<\/strong>The number of people suffering from mental illnesses has been steadily increasing for years. The mental health app Lumeus uses the influence of positive emotions on the subconscious to help those affected.
