1st place: <\/strong>Munich has Helsing<\/strong> a new unicorn and thus also its first place for September's Startup of the Month. The Munich-based startup Helsing develops AI solutions to support military reconnaissance. 2nd place:<\/strong> How is the startup founded in 2017 by Veit Blumschein and Daniel Nolte doing? Lanes & Planes<\/strong>The all-in-one solution for business travel offers a software solution for companies to manage travel services, bookings, invoicing, and expense reports. The startup convinced investors with this idea shortly after its founding and also raised $10 million in Series A funding in March 2020. Despite pandemic-related slumps in the travel market, the travel tech company grew its workforce and revenue. \"Ivy\"<\/a>
3rd place: <\/strong>Third place this month goes to Ivy<\/strong>The Munich-based startup raised \u20ac18.5 million at the beginning of the month. Just five weeks ago, the fintech company closed a \u20ac7 million seed funding round. Ivy has developed an API with which it aims to enable open banking payments worldwide. Direct account-to-account payments eliminate the need for intermediaries like Visa and thus their transaction fees. \"Entrix<\/a>
4th place:<\/strong> Fourth place this month goes to the energy tech startup Entrix<\/strong>, which has developed an AI-based solution for the optimized marketing of battery storage and renewable energies. At the beginning of September, the company was able to complete a financing round<\/a>. Loud\u00a0FAZ<\/a>\u00a0Entrix is said to have already raised a total of eight million euros in investments. Consumers set up a savings plan and set aside money for their desired products. In return, they receive a bonus from retailers \u2013 a win-win situation for everyone involved.
