Charging infrastructure startup Jolt Energy receives 150 million euros<\/strong>With its fast-charging stations, Jolt Energy relies on battery storage to supplement existing low-voltage grids in cities. They provide additional energy for the charging process and enable up to 100 kilometers of range to be charged in five minutes. The charging stations deliver up to 320 kW of power. In this way, the startup aims to enable the development of fast-charging infrastructure without major disruptions to the power grid. \"Lilium\"<\/a>
Lilium receives 90 million euros \u2013 more to follow<\/strong>: The Munich-based flying taxi developer Lilium has announced a further capital increase of up to 225 million euros (250 million dollars). A commitment of 90 million euros (100 million dollars) comes from the Chinese tech group Tencent<\/a>Tencent has been on board with Lilium since 2017. Since then, the company has contributed to several financing rounds for the Munich-based company, including the \u20ac107.5 million ($119 million) capital increase at the end of last year. Now, another \u20ac90 million is expected to follow. Tencent has also pledged an additional \u20ac67.5 million ($75 million) if Lilium succeeds in raising the same amount from other investors. Founded in 2019, the company's customers include Volkswagen, DB Schenker, BSH, and HHLA. With its solution, the startup aims to address the shortage of truck drivers, rising CO2 emissions, and tight profit margins in the logistics industry. According to the company, this is the first solution of its kind to be deployed in operational use by a customer. 21 million euros for 4.screen:<\/strong> The Munich-based automotive startup 4.screen is closing its Series A financing round with 21 million euros<\/a> The round is led by lead investors S4S Ventures and Continental Corporate Venture Capital. 4.screen is also receiving additional support from two venture capital firms, Summiteer and BayBG, as well as business angels from the automotive industry \u2013 including Matthias M\u00fcller, former CEO of VW, and Bram Schot, former CEO of Audi. 4.screen is developing a platform for real-time driver interaction that connects digital vehicles in real time with the businesses along their route. Global and local brands can thus interact with drivers directly via their car screens. By leveraging vehicle sensor data such as location, engine type, car brand, and fuel level, the platform provides drivers with contextual information about nearby businesses and locations such as parking lots, restaurants, or shops. Smart Reporting receives 15 million euros from the EIB:<\/strong> Smart Reporting has developed a voice-activated, AI-supported reporting software for radiology, pathology, and other clinical areas. It produces fully analyzable and machine-readable reports that are designed to shorten reporting times while simultaneously improving report quality. The European Investment Bank (EIB) is now supporting Smart Reporting's continued growth with a Venture debt loan of 15 million euros<\/a>The financing is supported by the InvestEU program, which provides investment partners with an EU budget guarantee to increase their risk capacity and thus mobilize public and private investment.
