The Edtech startup Edurino<\/a><\/strong> has developed a learning app that uses a pen and physical figures to offer children aged 4 and up a hybrid approach to reading and writing via mobile devices. Parents can track their children's learning progress and regulate screen time on their own devices. The app announces the end of playtime and turns off after the screen time has elapsed. This is intended to not only teach basic skills in reading, writing, and counting, but also the correct use of digital media. The startup, founded in 2021 by Franziska Steiner and Irene Klemm, developed the learning content together with educators and other experts. Among the investors of Edurino, who have provided the startup with last 10.5 million euros<\/a> Those who donated include Btov Partners, Emge Education, and business angels such as Verena Pausder. Studysmarter<\/strong><\/a> offers a comprehensive learning platform that combines the functionalities of many apps and tools: content management, content processing for the creation of interactive learning materials, statistics, and intelligent NLP algorithms. The platform is not tied to specific topics and can therefore be used by students and pupils of all disciplines. Students can upload their learning materials to the Studysmarter platform. These are then analyzed and processed by the Studysmarter algorithm. As a result, students can access the automatically generated Smart Studying Content in real time. Through learning interaction with the content, students can view statistics on their current learning status and progress, and gamification features can increase learning motivation. The startup was founded in 2017 by Jessica Contento and Massimo Cancellara. Only at the end of 2022 did the edtech startup announce the completion of its Series A financing round of \u20ac4.8 million<\/a>. Its cooperation partners also play a significant role in the development of Easy-Tutor. According to the company, approximately 200 partner schools and 40 percent of all Bundesliga clubs \u2013 including FC Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and Eintracht Frankfurt \u2013 currently use Easy-Tutor in their childcare programs for children and young people. The company also aims to attract companies to cooperate. These companies will provide Easy-Tutor with greater visibility through their target group relevance, while their customers benefit from the tutoring services. Simpleclub<\/a> <\/strong>offers a knowledge platform for students from fifth grade onwards with its app. The application includes numerous offers for struggling students, from practice exercises and summaries to explanatory videos and preparation for the Abitur and Realschulabschluss (university entrance qualifications). Furthermore, the Munich-based startup has also been offering programs for apprentices and dual students for some time now. In this regard, Simpleclub works with partners such as Deutsche Bahn, Brillux, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and the German Savings Bank Publishing House. The startup was founded in 2015 by Alexander Giesecke and Nicolai Schork. According to the company, two million students from fifth grade onwards use the Munich-based startup's learning content every month, and teachers in Germany are also expected to use the content in their classrooms. The tutoring platform from Ubimaster<\/a><\/strong> serves the needs of students and trainees in a customized and fixed-price way. This means users are connected directly to a qualified tutor, rather than simply accessing learning plans and explanatory videos. According to the startup, it takes a maximum of two minutes for the right contact person to respond \u2013 seven days a week.
Ubimaster offers its products to both parents and companies. The latter can integrate the service into their employee benefit programs, thus supporting all children of the workforce, regardless of their parents' income. Since its founding in 2019, Ubimaster claims to have provided more than 10,000 students with access to a better education, with around 75 percent improving their grades thanks to the Munich-based company.
