With her startup Floy<\/a> They offer radiologists second opinions via a virtual assistant based on artificial intelligence. The software is certified as a medical device in the EU and is currently used by over 90 radiology clinics in Germany, according to Forbes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subscribers only have to cover the costs of fuel or electricity themselves. Last summer, the startup secured 103 million euros (110 million dollars) in its Series B round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Munich startups in the category \u201cManufacturing & Industry\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Roman H\u00f6lzl<\/strong> (29), Co-Founder of Robco<\/a>, is in the "Manufacturing & Industry" category. His startup develops cost-effective robots for small and medium-sized businesses that can automate repetitive manual tasks such as laser engraving or palletizing. Robco's investors include Frank Thelen's investment firm Freigeist Capital; the startup recently secured \u20ac13 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also among the 30 under 30 in the \u201cManufacturing & Industry\u201d category is Alexander Genzel<\/strong> (24). The co-founder of Reflex Aerospace<\/a> His company develops satellite platforms tailored to the individual needs of its customers. The Berlin and Munich-based company secured seven million euros in its seed round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the aim of accelerating the world\u2019s transition to sustainable aviation, Tobias Kahnert<\/strong> (29) the startup Electric Flytrain<\/a> The company develops customized solutions for aircraft manufacturers and its own hybrid propulsion system for unmanned aircraft. For this, he has now been recognized by Forbes with a spot among its 30 under 30 Europe in the "Manufacturing & Industry" category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And there are also startups from Munich in the \u201cTechnology\u201d category. For example, Finway<\/a> with his co-founders Jennifer Dussileck<\/strong> (28) and Csaba Kr\u00fcmmer<\/strong> (29). The startup offers SMEs a central platform for their financial processes. It is designed to enable companies to eliminate time-consuming and error-prone manual tasks and digitize their accounts payable. Just in February, Finway announced the completion of its Series A round with \u20ac9.2 million ($10 million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And the new startup of the Parkhere co-founder Felix Harteneck<\/strong> (29) makes it onto the list. Inplanet<\/a> is developing a method for removing CO2 from the atmosphere. The German-Brazilian startup based in Munich relies on a natural process in which rock flour is spread on fields in tropical regions, which binds CO2 and simultaneously fertilizes the fields.
