To participate in Phase 2 of the Munich Business Plan Competition, interested startups must submit a business plan of approximately 20 pages. It should include a short executive summary, a detailed description of the product\/service, and an analysis of the market and competition, marketing and sales, business model and organization, opportunities and risks. The application deadline is March 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All startups that submit a business plan will subsequently receive expert feedback \u2013 regardless of whether they are shortlisted or not. The awards ceremony for the second phase will take place on May 24, 2023. A total of \u20ac9,000 in prize money is available, including \u20ac4,000 for the first-place winners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winner of the second phase 2022: Dymium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the last year<\/a> Dymium secured first place in Phase 2. The Munich-based company is developing a new method for the residue-free, minimally invasive removal of kidney stones. In Germany alone, 400,000 patients undergo endoscopic treatment for kidney stones each year. Half of these require follow-up surgery because residues in the kidney grow into new stones. Dymium's technology, on the other hand, magnetizes fragments of previously broken kidney stones using a biocompatible substance, allowing surgeons to magnetically extract them without leaving any residue. This reduces the duration of the operation and avoids further operations.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

The Munich Business Plan Competition is entering its second phase. This time, the focus is on marketing and sales.
