For the sixth time, a startup challenge has been announced as part of the "Factory of the Year" industry competition. The challenge is looking for young companies working on innovative solutions and technologies for the production environment. The challenge allows selected startups to pitch to renowned companies and receive feedback. Furthermore, all pitching startups will receive a free exhibition space at the "Factory of the Year" conference, which will take place on March 22 and 23 in Munich<\/a> will take place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interested startups can apply until Apply online for the Startup Challenge by January 26<\/a>In mid-February, participants will be informed whether they are eligible to participate in the pre-selection round\u2014or the casting pitch. The pre-selection round, which will involve a pitch via video call, is scheduled for the end of February. The startups that impress will then have the opportunity to pitch to an audience of around 200 manufacturing experts at the conference in Munich and establish contacts with the industry. These experts will vote for their favorite startup at the end of the pitch round, thus selecting the winning team. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2018, the Munich startup Kinexon<\/a>, which provides cloud software for recording, optimizing and automating processes in production, logistics and sports, convince the audience and win the challenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
