The Munich-based startup says that Ebay is \u201cin view of the increasing popularity of Talentbay<\/a>" and have prohibited the further use of the ending "bay." The ending "ee" in Talentee refers to roles such as "mentee" or "trainee."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talentee offers a recruiting platform that is particularly aimed at students and graduates in engineering, natural sciences and business administration. Sylvia Edmands<\/strong>, CEO of the company, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Across all industries, we see the greatest demand and therefore the greatest pressure to act in the areas of IT, HR, finance, marketing, and sales. We also want to help the future-critical industries of renewable energy, water supply and recycling, the food industry, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, digitalization and automation, and sustainable mobility, in particular, to counteract the shortage of skilled workers. With Talentee, we create the perfect match between companies and high-potentials \u2013 in the very first phase of academics' careers."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Edmands recently replaced former CEO Marc Irmisch-Petit at the helm of Talentee. Both previously worked together at the career portal Monster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talentee: \u201cFoundation created for further expansion\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just in time for the rebranding, Talentee has now attracted its first corporate investor in addition to existing private investors. The Polish software agency Appunite is joining the Munich-based company and will also take over all programming services at Talentee. Edmands says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"With this new round of financing, we have laid the foundation for further expansion. The support from our shareholders encourages us to continue driving forward our business model, which is unique in Europe. With Appunite, we have an agile and innovative partner who, through this investment, demonstrates a strong vested interest in the success of the platform."<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
