Social Bee<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0As a service provider, Social-Bee aims to actively integrate recognized refugees into the labor market and society. To this end, the Munich-based company, founded in 2015 by Maximilian Felsner and Zarah Bruhn, combines traditional temporary employment with an integration concept consisting of targeted training, socio-educational support, and leisure activities. Refugees are permanently employed at Social-Bee and placed with companies \u2013 from small family businesses to DAX-listed corporations. Social-Bee also takes care of language, professional, and social integration. In 2016, Fabian Eckert and Florian Pachaly founded Recup<\/a><\/strong> with the goal of establishing a Germany-wide reusable deposit system and thus creating a simple, attractive, and sustainable alternative to disposable packaging. The Munich-based company has now established a nationwide deposit network with over 13,500 collection and return points. This has also been well received by investors: In June this year, Recup raised 12 million euros for the further expansion of its reusable system<\/a>Together with existing shareholder M\u00fcller Medien, the Blueworld Group, Summiteer, and GLS Bank are participating in the financing round. Polar Star<\/a><\/strong> was founded in 2011 by Jakob Assmann, Simon Stadler, and Florian Henle as an independent and publicly certified green energy provider. The Munich-based energy provider supplies households and businesses with green electricity from Bavarian hydropower and green gas from organic or plant-based resources. Nearbybees<\/strong><\/a> brings local beekeepers and end consumers together on its online platform. There, consumers can search for local honey from registered beekeepers and have it delivered to their homes by mail. The platform not only aims to help beekeepers \u2013 who mostly practice beekeeping as a hobby \u2013 market their products, but also contribute to combating the decline of bees. With this approach, the Munich-based startup was also able to secure funding from the Social Venture Capital Fund in 2017. BonVenture<\/a> convince the one invested a six-figure sum<\/a>. Sira Childcare<\/a><\/strong> builds large-scale daycare centers with a maximum of ten children and two to three caregivers, as well as mini-daycare centers, the Siralinis (for children aged 0-3) and Siramaxis (for children aged 3-6). The small group sizes of the daycare centers require less space and the structural requirements are lower. This allows Munich-based companies to utilize commercial spaces such as ground-floor office or retail spaces that are too small and therefore unsuitable for traditional childcare. The company was founded in 2012 by Christina Ramgraber and David Siekaczek and now consists of two companies: Sira Projekte GmbH is responsible for the construction of the mini-daycare centers for its cooperation partners, while Sira Kinderbetreuung gGmbH is responsible for the ongoing operation of the mini-daycare centers.
