Retorio<\/a> is a video-based behavioral intelligence platform that combines artificial intelligence and machine learning with insights from modern behavioral and differential psychology. The company's software uses scientific findings and AI methods to create a sound data foundation for recruiting and personnel development. The video AI can use short video sequences to provide a scientifically valid assessment of how well an applicant matches the job requirements and fits the desired corporate culture based on observable behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After onboarding, employees are immersed in realistic conversation situations from their everyday work life through video simulations. The AI provides concrete feedback and suggestions for improving conversational behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its solution, Retorio aims to help companies make better personnel decisions, make processes fairer, drive transformation processes, and provide as many people as possible with access to personalized training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion of customer success and sales teams<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a recent financing round, the Munich-based startup, which was founded in 2018 by former doctoral students from the Technical University of Munich, has now raised seven-figure capital. In addition to the existing investor Basinghall Partners<\/a>, which already invested in the Munich startup in 2021<\/a>, Retorio can now count two additional venture capital funds among its investors:\u00a0Conviction VC<\/a> and\u00a0Sofia Angels Ventures<\/a>Retorio has also attracted several private investors, including the family offices of a current and former DAX CEO and a software entrepreneur. The fresh capital will be used to further expand the customer success and sales teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
