After two years without a physical Bits & Pretzels, the Munich Founders Festival<\/a> According to the organizers, the 5,000 tickets were sold out five weeks before the conference. Another 4,000 people were on the waiting list, hoping in vain for a ticket.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\"Schwarzenegger\"<\/a>
Arnold Schwarzenegger opened the startup festival on Sunday morning. In his speech, he traced his path from the Styrian countryside to Mr. Universe, global movie star, and Governor of California. His recipe for success: You have to develop a vision, set ambitious goals, and work continuously towards them: "Stay hungry!" With just one hour of effort a day, you can learn anything. He rejects the argument that you don't have time \u2013 anyone who sleeps more than six hours should "sleep faster." Nevertheless, Schwarzenegger rejects being called a self-made man. He couldn't have achieved all this without outside help and therefore strives to help others himself. Schwarzenegger also sees his voluntary work as Governor of California as a service to the community.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Bits & Pretzels takes place today and tomorrow at the ICM (International Center for Management and Innovation) at the Munich Trade Fair Center. 370 speakers will perform on nine different stages. 92 startups are participating in the pitch competition. The best Munich startup will be honored with the Munich Startup Award on Tuesday in the Schottenhamel marquee.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Munich Startup will also be represented with a booth at Bits & Pretzels. At our booth, the crazy ice cream maker will be offering a total of 14 crazy ice cream creations \u2013 from apple strudel to white sausage, from Augustiner Oktoberfest beer to Obatzda (traditional German sausage).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Planet A Foods will also be present at Bits & Pretzels with its oat-based cocoa substitute. Together with the Eismeer ice cream parlor in the Glockenbachviertel, the Munich-based company has developed a cocoa-free and vegan chocolate ice cream.
