The Munich-based startup&#039;s charging infrastructure solution, which can be controlled via an app, is already being deployed in other cities such as Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, and Stockholm. <a href=\"\/en\/77401\/qwello-financing\/\">which raised an investment of 50 million euros last year<\/a>, plans and supports as an investor with private capital the development of public charging infrastructure in the city of Frankfurt am Main and in other surrounding municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;Today&#039;s launch of the further expansion of charging infrastructure in the Main metropolis is a great moment for all of us at Qwello. This demonstrates the potential of a successful partnership between the Office for Road Construction and Development, the network operator NRM, the Mobility and Economic Affairs Departments of the City of Frankfurt, and us as a solution provider for charging infrastructure. Our focus now is on further expanding Frankfurt&#039;s charging network in line with the city&#039;s needs. In this way, with our unrivaled user-friendliness and optimized charging stations for urban needs, we are contributing to achieving the city&#039;s climate protection goals and enabling the many future users of e-mobility to have a reliable and convenient charging experience.&quot; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>says Qwello CEO <strong>Henrik Thiele<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turnkey charging solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Qwello offers cities a turnkey charging solution by providing all elements of the charging station infrastructure, including hardware and software development, installation, ownership, operation, and maintenance. The charging stations are also equipped with user-friendly features such as icon-based user communication for universal use, options for contactless credit card or mobile payment, and an integrated cable with a Type 2 plug and a Type 2 socket for users who prefer to use their own cable. The accompanying app handles billing, reservation, and location search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frankfurt pursues open market model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>And the Frankfurt Economic Affairs Director, City Councillor <strong>Stephanie W\u00fcst<\/strong>, supports the expansion plans of the charging infrastructure providers in Frankfurt am Main: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;With the open market model, the city of Frankfurt is pursuing the goal of creating a high-performance charging infrastructure whose network is available to users throughout the city.
