Traditional costume is not compulsory<\/strong>: The people of Munich attach a lot of importance to the Libertas Bavariae<\/em>, their liberal attitude \u2013 or in short: live and let live. So no one needs to feel obligated to buy expensive lederhosen or a dirndl for a visit to the Oktoberfest. Many Munich residents don't wear traditional costume either; you go to Oktoberfest however you feel comfortable. Take it easy<\/strong>: Things shouldn't get too serious at the Business Oktoberfest either. Discussions about KPIs and tough negotiations are rather inappropriate. Paper documents should also stay in the office. First, they're likely to get soaked on the table, and second, the latest charts might cause a frown in the person sitting next to you. Instead, enjoy the atmosphere and talk about something other than core business topics. After all, the Business Oktoberfest is the perfect networking opportunity.
