With its software solutions and the targeted integration of hardware and service partners, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft spin-off claims to have achieved a reduction in CO2 emissions of more than 90 percent. Its range of services covers the entire process, from analyzing optimization potential and supporting implementation to profitable operation and billing of tenant electricity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cooperation for a common one-stop shop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As has now become known, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sistems.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Company Sistems<\/a> together with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.big.at\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Austrian Federal Real Estate Company (BIG)<\/a> with a double-digit million euro investment in the Munich startup. The joint investment is intended to lay the foundation for a one-stop shop: Interdisciplinary teams will take over the planning, implementation, operation, and billing of all processes for sustainable building energy supply for property owners in the future \u2013 with the goal of reducing buildings&#039; CO2 emissions by over 90 percent. The collaboration combines the software solutions of the Fraunhofer spin-off Ampeers Energy with the services and system components of Sistems, such as PV systems, heat pumps, and charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investment is intended to support the next steps of growth and, among other things, to expand the team. At the same time, it will finance the optimization and further development of the existing offering. For example, CO2 monitoring is currently being developed, which will enable the prioritization of decarbonization measures, conduct benchmark analyses, and implement ESG-compliant CO2 reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cThe real estate industry has not been able to reduce its CO2 emissions in the last decade.\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Karsten Schmidt<\/strong>, CEO and founder of Ampeers Energy, says:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;The real estate industry hasn&#039;t been able to reduce its CO2 emissions over the past decade. At the same time, we know that it must increase the pace of renovations fivefold to achieve its climate goals. With the one-stop shop enabled by the partnership with Sistems and their investment, we are addressing the crucial hurdles here. We offer a fully integrated concept, avoiding complicated service provider management and error-prone interfaces. Ultimately, we are creating an offering that combines climate-neutral real estate with a profitable business model.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modular construction kit for property owners<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this strategic partnership, property owners can access a modular toolkit. The comprehensive partner network will provide all necessary steps for climate-neutral building energy supply in new and existing buildings from a single source, starting with potential analysis using intelligent software for a holistic and sustainable electricity and heat supply. It also encompasses concrete on-site implementation, including optimized, software-based operation of renewable energy systems and billing for tenant electricity.
