Science4Life has been supporting founding teams on their journey from idea to successful startup since 1998. Since then, the competition has seen around 8,500 participants and 1,400 successfully founded companies. The new competition round of the business plan<\/a>competition. Founding teams from life sciences and chemistry can then submit their ideas to the Science4Life Venture Cup, and energy startups to the Science4Life Energy Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The competition is divided into three phases: In the first phase, the idea phase, the business idea and its market potential are examined in detail. This allows teams to identify opportunities early and adapt their strategy accordingly. In the subsequent concept phase, the business model is developed and fine-tuned together with experts. In the final phase, startups plan their go-to-market in detail in the form of a business plan or read deck. Each phase concludes with a celebratory awards ceremony, where the best startups are selected. Interested parties and founders can join at any phase or participate in all phases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participation until October 21<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the 25th round of the competition, participating teams have access to online seminars, events, networking contacts, and industry experts from more than 200 companies. In addition, prize money totaling approximately \u20ac85,000 will be awarded. First place in the Venture Cup is endowed with \u20ac25,000, and first place in the Energy Cup with \u20ac10,000. Individual coaching sessions through the Science4Life Academy are also available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams can register online and submit their idea sketch for the first phase until 21 October 2022<\/a> Each submission receives a detailed evaluation by industry experts. The best teams from the first phase will receive one-day individual coaching at the Academy Day, where they will work with experts to identify the strengths, weaknesses, and future prospects of their business model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
