The social enterprise, which sold cakes baked by grandmas and grandpas, had previously been able to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conda.de\/startup\/kuchentratsch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crowdfunding campaign<\/a> successfully, but the funds raised were not sufficient, as Kuchentratsch founder <strong>Katharina Mayer<\/strong> on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/katharina-mayer-a191487b_omaliebe-kuchentratsch-grosseliebe-activity-6955881867979980800-xKaW\/?utm_source=linkedin_share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop_web\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn<\/a> explained:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&quot;The overall tense economic situation has also hurt us, and the campaign wasn&#039;t as successful as it should have been. The pandemic has hit us hard; when special protection and caution are required, that also has consequences.&quot;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Save the idea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A renewed commitment by the existing shareholders was also out of the question, and an agreement with potential new investors failed. As Gr\u00fcnderszene was able to learn, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.de\/gruenderszene\/food\/kuchentratsch-hoehle-der-loewen-dhdl-insolvent-b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carsten Maschmeyer<\/a> \u2013 who invested in Kuchentratsch in 2018 as part of the TV show \u201cDie H\u00f6hle der L\u00f6wen\u201d \u2013 will pass on his shares for a symbolic euro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cAbove all, I hope that Kuchentratsch or simply the idea can be saved, because it is so much more than just baking cakes,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Meyer continued on LinkedIn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Restructuring success in sight<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This wish could now come true. Because the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tz.de\/muenchen\/stadt\/bekannt-aus-die-hoehle-der-loewen-fuer-den-insolventen-kuchentratsch-gibt-es-hoffnung-zr-91739605.html\">TZ<\/a> claims to have learned upon inquiry that insolvency administrator Max Liebig has received several binding offers for a takeover.
