Since its founding in 2014, Scalable Capital has pursued the goal of democratizing investment. the Munich startup<\/a> Both with digital asset management and later with the online broker, the company focused on low-cost financial instruments such as ETFs. Scalebale Capital's solution went live in February 2016, and in the summer of 2018, the startup broke the one billion euro barrier in assets under management. The two billion euro mark was then reached at the end of 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, Scalable Capital has steadily expanded its offering. Following the launch of its neo-broker in 2020, the company launched a crypto offering at the end of last year. This allows customers to invest in cryptocurrencies via secure access on regulated exchanges in Germany. Furthermore, the company has continued to lower the barriers to entry: The initial minimum investment amount of \u20ac10,000 has now been lowered. Since the end of 2021, customers with a savings plan have been able to invest money starting from \u20ac20 per month. One-off investments without a savings plan are possible starting from \u20ac1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, Scalable Capital has steadily advanced its internationalization. Investors in France, Spain, Italy, and Austria can now access the Munich-based company's brokerage and crypto offerings. The company thus already reaches almost 60 percent of the population in the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But investors also seem to like the startup. Scalable Capital has raised a total of around \u20ac282 million in funding since its founding. The most recent financing round was the Series E round<\/a> in the summer of 2021.
